Sunday, October 1st The Calvary Hill Family and Friends day is finally here! Fellowship Lunch will be shared in the small multipurpose room across the hall, following this service. There is no charge and we have prepared food suitable for vegetarians. Blessed food; good seats; stick around and let’s eat!

It is our good pleasure to inform you that our very own Pastor is being recognized by the City of Cleveland for his work in the community at dinner hosted by the 4th District Police Station. The dinner will take place on Thursday, October 5th at 6 PM at Benedictine High School on Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. Let Mother Penn know today if you would like to attend; the guest count must be finalized Monday morning. There is no charge to us for the tickets. Tell the Lord, “thank You!” Let us take this opportunity to celebrate our Pastor along with the law enforcement community.

The Pastoral Anniversary Celebration for Pastor Justine and Elder William Lockwood that would have been held today has been rescheduled for October 29th on the last Sunday of the month. Dinner will be served from 1 pm-2:30 pm; the celebration service will begin at 3 pm. The church is located at 9009 Wade Park Boulevard in Cleveland, Ohio.

Tuesday, October 3rd Tuesday evening prayer will convene from 7 – 8 pm. Connecting with this prayer will bless others and yourself. Access details are the same as those used for today and Fridays. The cost of admission to this prayer and First Friday Prayer is free. Remember: It could cost us dearly, if we don’t take the time to pray.

Wednesday, October 4th Choir Rehearsal will convene at the home of Pastor Ernest and First Lady Iris Fields from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. For more information, contact Sister Joyce Barnes or see any choir member.

Friday, October 6th First Friday Prayer will convene from 7 pm to 8:30 pm on the Zoom Communications Platform, access details the same as used today. The prayer will center on petitions lifted by localrepresentatives of auxiliaries and ministries in our local congregation.

Sunday, October 8th is Women’s Day at Abundant Life Ministries in the morning and afternoon. Evangelist Georgia Rhodes is the morning speaker and Supervisor Emerita, Mother Thelma Giles Butts speaks in the afternoon. The church is located at 4564 E. 131st Street, Garfield Hts., OH 44105, Pastor Joan Ford will be in charge.
