Tuesday, February 6th  is the date of our next weekly corporate evening prayer meeting. Please tune in to the Zoom Communications Platform at 7 PM. The agenda includes calling out names and sending up one really BIG (believe in God) prayer.  Together, let us PUSH:  pray until something happens.

Wednesday, February 7th Weather permitting, choir rehearsal will take place at the church from 6 – 7 pm. Contact Sister Joyce Barnes for more information.

Friday, February 9th  Our amazingly awesome Biblestudy session resumes.  The study session convenes from 7-8:30 pm on the Zoom Communications Platform.  (Access info is at the top of page one of today’s program.)    Knowledge is power.

Saturday, February 10th  Leadership meeting will be held from 10am to noon in the multipurpose room at church.  Volunteers are needed!  You are invited to participate in “doing the work” to clean and spruce up at Calvary Hill from noon until 2 pm.  Please meet in the multipurpose room at noon and let’s get busy!

February is Black History Month…Sunday School is leading the way, preparing for a celebration on February 25th which includes a special program followed by a fellowship meal.  Please see Sister Rece and let her know what you plan to bring, the signup sheet is still circulating.  Feel free to wear Afrocentric attire to celebrate the positive influences of the cultures and people of African origin around the globe.

Saturday, March 2nd   This is the date for the ONFJ Workshop and Winter Call meeting.  Classes include a men’s class taught by Bishop Edward T. Cook; and jewelry making, basic sewing, how to make flowers, candy making, CWC, YWCC, Real Talk for Under 51 and Over 51, Prayer, and more.  Cost of registration (including lunch) before the event is $35; on the day of the event is $40.  The location is the James W. Kehoe Center, 175 Mansfield Ave., Shelby, Ohio 44875. Registration is now open at ohionorthcogic.org.

Sunday, March 10th  This is the date planned for the appreciation program honoring District Missionary Mary Ellen Penn.  The afternoon service will be held at 3 pm at Abundant Life Ministries.  See First Lady Iris Fields for more information.

Wednesday-Saturday, March 20th-23rd Workers Meeting 2024 will convene at Maddox Memorial COGIC in Mansfield, Ohio. Women’s Night is Thursday, March 21st and Official Day is Saturday, March 23rd.

Wednesday, April 24th – Friday, April 26th  The ONFJ Women’s Convention will be held at Latter Rain COGIC in Mansfield, Ohio. Additional info will be forthcoming as the dates approach.

Thursday, May 23rd and Friday, May 24th   Services of the annual Pentecostal District Meeting will be held 7:30 nightly at host church Calvary Hill Church of God in Christ in Cleveland, Ohio. Thursday evening is Women’s Night and Friday evening is the first Official Service honoring Pastor Ernest L. Fields as the Superintendent of Pentecostal District.
