Sunday, August 13 Abundant Life Ministries invited Calvary Hill to help celebrate the pastoral anniversary of Pastor Joan Ford this afternoon. Dinner will be served starting at 2-2:30 pm. Service will start at 3:30 pm at the church, located at 4564 E. 131st Street, Garfield Hts., OH 44105.
Note: Quick Calvary Hill congregation meeting re: Celebration Sunday, September 17th at the end of morning worship, just before Sunday School. (Pastor and First Lady will be asked to leave the room.)
Tuesday, August 15th Tuesday evening prayer will convene from 7 – 8 pm. Please connect with this prayer and be blessed. Access details are the same as those used for today and Fridays.
Wednesday, August 16th Choir Rehearsal will convene at the home of Pastor Ernest and First Lady Iris Fields from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. For more information, contact Mother Penn at 216-970-1859 or see any choir members.
Friday, August 18th Biblestudy continues with review of Sunday School Lessons. The study session take place on the Zoom communications platform. Check your text messages and emails for details.
Saturdays, September 9th and 16th …are the next scheduled cleanup days. Volunteers are asked to meet at the church at 9am. Bring cleaning rags, vacuum cleaner, mop, broom, rake, rubber gloves, mask, air freshner, cleaning solution, pump disinfecting/sanitizing hand soap, etc.
Sunday, August 13th is the date of the Pastoral Anniversary Celebration for Pastor Joan Ford. Service begins at 3:30 pm. (Dinner will start at 2-2:30 pm.) The church is Abundant Life Ministries, located at 4564 E. 131st Street, Garfield Hts., OH 44105.
Saturday, August 26th is the date of the Elevation Celebration honoring Mother Sharon Blevins, Supervisor of ONFJ Department of Women. It is also the date that food will be distributed at the food bank from 10-12 noon at The Church COGIC, 6902 Kinsman Rd. near 55th street in Cleveland, Ohio. Elder Kennedy Lockhart is Pastor. Food distributed while supplies last. Try to get there by or before 10 am.
Friday, September 8th, Sup’t Ernest L. Fields will be preaching for the 7 pm service celebrating the 22nd Pastoral Anniversary of Pastor Rufus and 1st Lady Freda Webb, at New Direction COGIC, 1337 Giddings Road in Cleveland, Ohio 44103.
***Sunday, September 17th*** We will be celebrating Sup’t Ernest L. Fields and First Lady Iris Fields for 35 years of service at Calvary Hill. Additional details will be forthcoming.
